An application to Register the Microband™ name and logo as Legal Trademarks was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on March 31, 2003.
In January 2004 Microband received a letter from the Trademark office stating Microband may be eligible for the Trademark as long as no opposition exists. The time for opposition expired on February 27, 2004. Click here for the notice of publication received from the Trademark Office.
On April 20, 2004 Microband became a registered trademark of Charles C. Lynch dba, Xyber Software. Charles Lynch hereby Reserves All Legal Rights to the Microband name and logo as specified by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Click here for more information.

On July 1, 2004 Charles Lynch filed a Notice of Opposition with the USPTO against an application for a trademark on a Microband device used in the farming industry. Click here for the Opposed Application. The Opposition was denied because the farming device is in a different industry than that which Microband's trademark is related to.
